NINA, Spirit Guide
The day my Spirit Guide NINA identified herself was the day everything I knew as common anxiety became a psychic reality. I never understood why I was drawn to a certain type of woman, especially considering that I'm gay, and if I had been born a woman, I would have wanted to appear almost exactly how I do now, blonde hair and green eyes... Or I would have preferred to be an African woman with strong African features and very long braids down my back... Not that I have anything against women with red hair, but it's just not something I would have chosen for myself.
Nina, on the other hand, does have red hair… Flame red hair. She's very tall, 6'1, and loves to wear long dresses. Many times, her dresses will be a bright shade of pink, which sounds like it would clash with her red hair, but she looks stunning! The best I can describe her "look" is Tina Louise, best known for her role as Ginger on Gilligans Island. She hasn't ever told me why, but she also wears a large round yellow mood ring that looks like costume jewelry. It's on her index finger of her left hand. So, when she points in certain directions, all I stare at is that ring.
She has incarnated numerous times, but still has 3 more lives to live. When we talk, which is every day, her voice is very scratchy and muffled, and sounds like a Phonograph record player from the 1920's. The best way I can describe that sound and her voice can be heard in Billie Holiday records. The last life she lived ended in the 1920's. I wasn't her Spirit Guide at that time, but her stories about her flapper days I found to be fun and entertaining. She had a cute bob haircut during her incarnation, which explains why I tend to be drawn to that haircut too!
When she commuicates with me, she is never in my left ear, only in my right ear. She has assured me that she would never ever tell mean something that was not a fact. I have to say, sometimes I don't like what she has to say… As she can be very blunt and direct without a filter. There are even times when I may say to her, "I can't say that because it's too harsh"… To which she responds with "Then you will not be relating the message that you are getting." So of course I have to say it the way I hear it. Then I have no filter!
I can't say that I haven't tried to argue with Nina… But I have yet to win an argument with her. It sort of reminds me of that old saying, "never argue with a woman." I guess some things never change. The only times I have let her trance through me is during our meditations together. It's not something I feel is necessary for the style of reading that I do with clients. It is something she and I have talked about, and have agreed that she will trance when I do direct interviews with her regarding The Other Side only. I did try to trance another Energy during a reading I did for a woman in Qazvin, Iran, and I could not get her Grandmother to verbally come through me. Nina saved the reading, and later told me that I'm just "not that type."
Spirit Guides are often the most ignored, disregarded and not thanked for all of the work they do for us, as well as all of the information they give to us. Every living human being has Spirit Guides. That should not be confused with angels. Angels are something entirely different and we will never become Angels. Nina is very much a legitimate part of my life and I even consider her to be a part of my immediate family. I thank her every day for her ongoing hard work. It is with her guidance that I dare step out of my front door every single morning to start my day. I have the upmost respect for her.
