Fakes And Frauds

According to Webster's dictionary, the word Fake means:

Fake: a thing that is not genuine; a forgery or sham.

Unfortunately the word fake falls into so many persons, places, and things. The psychic business is no exception. For as many loving and caring Psychics that there truly are in this world, there is just as many, if not more, disgracful fake frauds that are there to scam victims out of their money.

Just like many politicians, many religions, and the millions of pyramid schemes that arise every day, these phonies have manage to try and ruin the experience for the ones who are truthful, and also for the people these fauds proudly victimize. Trust is such a sacred feeling. And the reason people have such distrust is because of the money grubbing vultures that prey upon the fearful.

For years, I never charged anyone for any kind of reading… Something I learned from the great Edgar Cayce. Just as he did, it wasn't until I decided to start this Psychic School Of Study Groups called The Adulation Foundation that I had to put a fee into place. The main reason I did, is to fund the school itself so it can reach people that know they are meant for a great spiritual experience.

In this section I want to briefly tell you what to look for when it comes to a fake psychic. All students at TAF that are developing their psychic ability are taught in great detail about fakes and frauds that are out there that could possibly tarnish their name if not aware. Lies are absolutely unacceptable in learning psychic ability… and if you notice, liars that are found in this field, (such as Psychic Hotlines and oracle styled websites) as well as many other fields, don't last very long.

Curses:

Curses are the #1 most used tricks with psychic fakes and frauds. Think about it for a second, if curses were really true and people were able to cast them on to others, do you know how many you would have?! Imagine any person that has a dislike for you! Now, imagine every single time you've ever been in a situation where someone disagrees with you! My frustration in traffic alone would have me throwing curses and receiving just as many day and night! The idea of a curse is nothing more than an attempt to control a person's fears and separate them from their money. And to be even more bluntly realistic, the only person who can cast a curse on you, is you. That is because believing you have a curse on you is nothing more then believing your own fear.

Lottery:

This is a big one with skeptic's! They love to ask why Psychic's can't give the winning lottery numbers (or name the winning horse at the track, or spout off the winning team of the Superbowl, nor give the winner of a game show and the last standing on a reality show.) Psychic's can't and shouldn't even attempt to use intuition for any of those pointless things. They will more-less only guess the answer. Materialism is a man-made trait. It is not part our inate natural way of being balanced while incarnated. Therefore, it is not possible for any practicing Psychic to give this kind of information. I've included this here because there are fakes and frauds that practice Psychic Abilitiy whom claim they can give "winning information" for a certain amount of money. That is a lie. They can't.

Tools:

Tools in the psychic world are tricky. From my own experience, I have never ever used a physical tool to enhance my intuition... (Not to be confused with my early readings as a teenager, when I would play with the Ouija board... that was because I found a way for friends to pay attention to me... and it was free of charge.)

Please read the following entirely... There is no physical tool, such as, Ouija board's, Tarot Cards, Crystal Balls, Charms, Crystals, etc. that possess any kind of psychic ability itself. You will find many intuitive's that use physical tools. The reason these tools are used is to help the psychic to properly interpret what is already coming natural to them.

So, while I said tools can be tricky, what I mean by that is that often times clients are misled into thinking the tools themselves are psychic and are giving the reading, in actuality it is the psychic giving the reading with the comfort of the tool. The tool is also incorapted to help the client understand the reading from a visual perspective. DO NOT let a Psychic sell you any kind of tool that they claim has "power."

Cold Readings:

This "script" known as "Cold Reading" is probably my biggest pet peeve of them all. The "script" varies from reading to reading. Phrases like, "things look bleak" to "it may be time for a change" to "you've led a tough life" are just examples of the many different ones. Obviously those are generic phrases that help fill in the dead air time between the psychic and the client.

Over time, our human vocabulary has evolved into a lot of basic general blanket statements. And there have even been times when I'm doing a reading and I will throw out a general phrase like "that must've been very hard for you." Well, anyone who has had a reading with me will tell you that the second I do that, I catch myself, and I follow that up with: "wow, that sounded completely generic! Sorry. I hate when ANYONE does that!"

Now that you understand, some Psychics, especially when it comes to Mediumship readings, can get accused of "Cold Reading" people, mostly by the anal skeptics who just refuse to believe something outside of what they were taught. My answer is always the same… "There is absolutely no way I could have known that" ... So the term "cold reading" is simply a way for the detractors to validate there disbelief. And I've had my share of many of them, and I'm sure I will have my share of many more! I used to get such a kick out of proving them all wrong, but I realized that acting that way was just my ego stepping in the way of helping the people who truly need the help.

Possessions:

Religious dogma and silly horror films are to blame for this. There are thousands of psychics that have "performed" exorcisms. This is where they are removing an "evil spirit" from a living human being. Do you really think this is being done? No. Why? Because God promised everyone free will. There is no way around that!

Now, please understand that my experience with "possessions" is not what the average masses thinks it is. I do know of cases in which a person, who does not practice psychic intuition, but is very sensitive to the spirit world, has manage to channel a spirit in a trance-like state, without understanding what they are doing. But those cases never involved an evil entity. That is simply because it just does not happen. "Evil" is a chosen man-made activity. It has nothing to do with the spirit of the person. It is nothing more than a person who is so far unbalanced that they make wrong choices... But possession, it is not... No matter how much we want to blame others for our choices (including getting possessed.)

Lastly, there have been meetings between clients and myself where I listen to their "possession stories," and then I reassure them that it is not a possession… However, it could be unknowingly channeling or just flat out unbalanced negativity brought on by the person who does still have free will.
